Softbots Diaper Review & Giveaway ***CLOSED***

I came across Softbots’ while searching around facebook looking for more information on Cloth Diapers when I was expecting my daughter. I sent them a email to inquire about doing a review

on one of there diapers. Which worked out to be God's perfect timing, because they were looking for a way to expand there fan base and get more people to know about their Cloth Diapers ( Nappies). Softbots’ is an Australian mom/daughter company. My husband says that Tasha (the daughter) is the Australian version of me. :-) Tasha initially looked into Modern Cloth Diapers (Nappies) while she was pregnant with her son in 2006. She didn’t look too much into them when she saw the price per diaper and instead opted for flannelette squares and snibs; a decision that she quickly regretted. She has tried a wide range of cloth diapers from flannelette squares, terry squares and fitted cotton with a wide range of covers to All In One’s and Pockets. She liked using the pocket diapers but found them to be quite expensive and still

without all the features that she was wanting in a Cloth Diaper. Her mom then mentioned that she could easily make them with the features on Tasha's wish list. After many hours surfing the net researching patterns and fabrics, Softbots’ was born, using a pattern that they developed using
 the trial and error method.

The first time I put Sweet Pea in the Softbots’ diaper I took it right back off her because it looked
so big on her. I then emailed Tasha who told me how to make it fit a newborn since the diaper is made to fit Newborns up to Toddlers. I was just not doing it right, but hey I am a first time cloth diapering mom so I am learning. :-) Softbots’ diapers are made with care using high quality fabrics.  The pockets are made with an outer layer of breathable, waterproof  PUL and a stay-dry inner layer of suedecloth. The layer of suedecloth makes them nice and soft on the baby's skin. I am a momma that is all about soft on my children and myself. The absorbent inserts are made from bamboo fleece or microfibre. There wetbags are also made of PUL, making them perfect for storing your diapers when you’re out and about. They easily fit about 4 diapers in them. The wetbag can then be placed in the washing machine with your diapers so it will be clean and ready for your next outing.

As you can tell by the pictures Sweet Pea was not in a picture mood this day. The diaper fit her very well though it looks big in the pictures. Sweet Pea refused to let me get a good picture showing the fit of the diaper. We had no leaks from the diaper when Sweet Pea went to the restroom. Which is great since lately Sweet Pea's BM's have been pretty watery. Sorry if that's
