What A Weekend

I have to say that this past weekend was one of the best I have had in a long time. Friday my mother in law and I went shopping for the kids Easter Gifts from my in laws which is always clothes. :-) I found some great buys on Melissa and Doug puzzles for the kids Easter Baskets.

My mother in law bought the boys some new umbrellas which they needed. It was such a nice day that the kids got to play with the neighbor kids and go to the park. We ordered pizzas for dinner so we could eat quick and get back outside to enjoy the nice weather while we had it. The boys were playing ball and playing with their new umbrellas while their dad mowed the yard.

Saturday early afternoon I got to go to lunch with some great fellow mommy bloggers from the local area. It was so nice to be able to sit down and talk with fellow mommies other then on the computer. We meet at the Hartville Kitchen for a wonderful lunch and a little shopping. Come on you get women together and what else do you expect us to do but go shopping.

:-) After lunch I went home just long enough to jump into the car with my husband, kids and some family friends and headed down to Amish Country. Oh how I love Amish Country all the great foods and craft shops. We only went to Troyers Country Market to pick up goodies for the children's Easter Baskets. I also got my Easter Ham while I was there. :-) After we left Troyers we took the kids to go see "Hop" oh what a great movie. Though we don't believe in the Easter Bunny that whole plot behind the movie is very well done a great family movie. The kids feel asleep on the way home from the movie so that's always a plus no fighting with them to go to sleep.

Sunday my husband had to be up early and off to church because he sings on the praise team. I love hearing my husband sing he has such a wonderful voice. After church we took the kids to A Easter Egg Hunt at the park behind our house that my Aunt's church was putting on. They had over 10,000 eggs yes you read it right 10,000+ eggs for all the kids. It was extremely windy but a ton of fun. The boys won a door prize baskets filled with craft supplies. They were so happy!! My mother in law came down to the egg hunt with us and visited with some of my family who hasn't seen in awhile. I also got my second sponsor for the A Blogtastic Extravaganza 2.0. :-) Tommee Tippee I'm so excited....
