I have not always been a big advocate of breastfeeding until I started our current church. I was ill

educated about the who breastfeeding concept. My family was all about bottle feeding and disposable diapers. After getting married and raising my first how my family wanted I quickly found out that it was not how I wanted to raise my children. Now I am a breastfeeding, cloth diapering, baby wearing momma that makes her own baby food. I have learned that just because society thinks we should bottle feed and put our children in disposables because its convenient for everyone that its not what I want for my children.

Recently I have become one that is all for public breastfeeding and not being ashamed about it one bit. That is why I like the Imilk Baby so much and what they stand for. It is good for moms to be able to nurse and be proud of what they are doing. But when we leave so many of our new moms ill educated what else do we expect but for them to follow what society says they should do. I do understand that not every woman is able to breastfeed and I am not saying that bottle feeding is wrong I did it with both Bubba and Pumpkin; it is just not right for our family.
