10 Holiday Planning Tips

With the holidays approaching how about some easy tips to help make life go a little smoother and possibly a little cheaper...

1. When planning the Holiday Meals have your guest bring a covered dish or dessert so all the cooking stress isn't placed on you...

2. Draw names for gift giving so you do not have to buy for everyone and their brother (we only do this with the adults)

3. Make your Christmas Cards by using a great company like Storkie.com

4. Have your kids help you make homemade Christmas Gifts for their Grandparents and Teachers.

5. Get your shopping done early and take full advantage of the stores Layway plans!

6. Get your outside decorating done early before the weather turns to cold to be outside decorating.

7. Start traditions with your Children our is baking cookies for Santa.

8. Make a game plan of where you need to be for the holidays.

9. If you can't make it to everywhere in the afternoon try having a Christmas Breakfast or Brunch with some family.

10. Relax and breathe although the holidays are stressful they are supposed to be enjoyed as well. :-)

I wrote this blog post while participating in the Storkie holiday blogging program. I received compensation for my participation. All opinions are 100% mine.
