Since I started cloth diapering I have only ever used 1 other soap other then Rockin Green on my diapers. As most of you know I have been trying to find ways to make my families lifestyle greener in hopes to help the environment and save a little in the process. I have to say that I love all the different scents that I have tried and I love how well it works on getting my diapers nice and clean. I use the Rockin Green to wash up all my families clothes not just my diapers. Everything comes out of the washer smelling and looking clean as well and I love how if I don't have my ecosheets in the dryer my stuff still comes out nice and not full of static.
Recently my hubby purchased me a new washer and dryer so I have been lucky enough to try Rockin Green with a top loader and a HE front loader. I must say that I love the HE front loader because I do not seem to use as much soap as I did with the top loader. Even with using less soap my clothes and diapers are still coming out nice and clean! I have also tried Classic Rock and Hard Rock with all my clothes and diapers. I originally started out with Classic Rock but found my water was more Hard so I switched and still had great results!! I would recommend if your water could go either way buying some samples to see which works best for you to begin with.
Rockin Green is not only great for doing your laundry with but you can also put it in your dishwasher as well. One day I ran out of dishwasher detergent and was short on funds to go buy some but came across another moms post on facebook about using Rockin Green in the dishwasher so I tried it. It worked great everything came out nice and clean.
I REALLY need to try this detergent! I only used regular detergent on my cloth diapers.

ReplyDeleteI've been hesitant to try Rockin' Green since I read so many reviews that said their little ones had a bad reaction to it. I'd love to get my hands on one though and test it to see how our daughter would do with it. I love the variety of scents, the water specific concentrates and the fact that it is safe for the environment. Plus, how cool that it can go in the dishwasher!

ReplyDeleteI love RnG! I've been known to wash our regular laundry in it when we are out of "regular" detergent. Use it on my mama cloth too. I love the Smashing Watermelons and Rage Against the Raspberries!

ReplyDeleteRockin' Green in the dishwasher?? :o I've never heard that before. I'd try it though. The smell of regular dishwasher soap is icky IMO. I haven't had a chance to try this brand out yet. But I love their variety of scents :)

ReplyDeleteRockin' Green is the best! They have an actual dishwasher detergent now and an Athletic Wear formula. It's the best line of green cleaning products I know because they are gentle on the planet but actually WORK!
