Sponsor Spotlight: The Willow Store

Since I started cloth diapering and trying to go greener with my family I have wanted to try soap nuts. I wanted to see if they would clean our clothes as well as soap. When the Fluffy Bottom Giveaway Hop came about I was given the chance to work with The Willow Store and the opportunity to review their laundry nuts.

I have to say that I am in Love with these laundry nuts for my normal washing. I love how my clothes come out clean and fresh smelling. Since I have a front loader I just have to place the laundry nuts in my tray and not worry about them for about 5 washes. Since my washer is a HE I noticed that I could get about 8 decent washes from 2-3 laundry nuts.

It is pretty easy to tell when the soap nuts have been used to their max because they became very soft and lighter in color. You will want to be sure to keep the laundry nuts inside of the small cloth bag that they come with. This bag makes it easy to find the laundry nuts and keep them contained. I like that the laundry nuts are free from petroleum. I like that they are unscented and easily get clothes clean, without the use of harsh chemicals. Naturally occurring saponin in the nuts work to quickly clean even the dirtiest clothes without damaging or leaving residue. Completely biodegradable and eco-friendly. Safe for all laundry even cloth diaper safe. I have not tried the laundry nuts with my cloth diapers though.

The Willow Store has other great eco-friendly products that you will want to make sure you check out!!
