One thing my boys love to do is build and construct various things. For that reason, I am very excited about one gift in particular that Bubba is receiving for Christmas. The Vortex Marble Run from Hearthsong!
Bubba had a marble set awhile back but when we moved it got misplaced so he has been asking for a new set. I am sure that this will be one of his favorite gifts under the tree this year. The boys are pretty good about keeping their small toys out of Sweet Pea's reach and put up but a reminder never hurt anyone. I can see the boys playing with this for awhile at a time and even years to come. I love getting them stuff that I know can grow with them and they wont get bored of easily.
Since the Vortex Glow-in-the-Dark Marble Run provides creative and endless fun in the light or in the dark, with its glow-in-the-dark feature it will have to stay in the playroom and not the boys bedroom. I have a feeling if we left it in the bedroom the boys would stay up all night playing.
