Artisan Soda Workshop Book Review & Giveaway

One thing that I love to have around my house are cookbooks. I have started to get more natural and healthy cookbooks as well to go along with my one goal for 2013. Well during last year I was sent a very neat book to review and I am so excited to talk to you about it today.

This is a very neat book filled with 70 Homemade Recipes. With my one goal being to eat and cook healthier this book can help me make great tasting homemade and healthy sodas for my family. There are several different categories that they have the sodas listed under.

Soda Categories:
Homemade Soda Copycats
Soda Adventures with Herbs and Spices
Cherries and Berries
Seasonal Suds
Aqua Frescas and Shrubs
Fizzy Teas, Floats, and Alcohol-Enhanced Dazzlers

With stuff being released lately on what the soda companies are using in their drinks as "flavor enhancers" has me very thankful for having this book in my possession. So why do I want Homemade Soda over store bought?? Homemade sodas do take a bit more effort on my part to make compared to opening a can or bottle and pouring some, but the health and flavor benefits are worth the extra effort! Mass-produced store-bought soda is full of chemicals and high-fructose corn stryup.

By making homemade soda, you control everything that goes into your beverages, so you know exactly what you're consuming. I don't know about you but all these chemicals we are consuming is a big part of the health problems in America now. Homemade sodas are made using real fruit, not artifical flavors. So if you make a homemade version of Sunkist or Sprite your soda will contain real fruit. Which means you're getting added vitamins and antioxidants, helping avoid cancer-causing chemicals.

So I am not sure about you but I think the idea of making your own sodas is such a great idea!! If you would like to buy a copy of this wonderful book you can do so HERE. Or you can also enter below for your chance to win one of these great books so you can start making your own sodas at home for your family.
