This week I am bringing you one of the most famous comfort foods...
Macaroni & Cheese
I have tried several recipes and this one has turned out the best :-)
What You Need:
3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1 pound Velvetta, cubed
2 cups(8oz) shredded Mexican cheese blend
2 cups(8oz) shredded white cheddar cheese
1 3/4 cups milk
1 can (12oz) evaporated milk
3/4 cup egg substitute
3/4 cup butter, melted
What You Do:
Cook the macaroni according to the package directions; drain. Place in a greased 5qt or larger crock pot. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hour, stirring once.
Buffalo Chicken Macaroni & Cheese
- add diced celery & tomatoes into your mac -n- cheese; stir
- add buffalo chicken cut up on top of the macaroni
- you can top with blue cheese crumbles on top if you would like
Enjoy!!
