How about a Valentine’s Day special- VeggiesTales style. Yes I know Valentine's Day has past but I feel you should treat the ones you love as if it was Valentine's Day everyday. Just as God treats and loves us the same everyday and not more on one certain day of the year.
As you know we are a VeggiesTales loving household. It’s always great to find good kid friendly movies that tell the stories of the bible in a way our children understand.
VeggieTales: Lettuce Love One Another! includes three popular VeggieTales episodes: Tomato Sawyer & Huckleberry Larry’s Big River Rescue, Abe and the Amazing Promise and King George and the Ducky along with five brand-new “Bible Bits,” short stories that demonstrate examples of giving and forgiving, helping, praying and sharing.
The kids really enjoyed this DVD! Of course their favorite was The Big River Rescue episode. All the episodes were funny and fun to watch. What I loved the most about this set is it teaches about friendship, sharing, and giving. Which for 8, 5 & 2 year olds is lessons to be reminded of and learning about. This movie would make a great addition to any family movie night. I think all of us need to be reminded of these lessons, regardless of age at times.
