Delicious Dish Tuesday: Sausage Gravy

Welcome to another week of Delicious Dish Tuesday... This week I am sharing my Homemade Sausage Gravy with you...This recipe is a hit with my family... I hope you enjoy it as much as we do... Also make sure you stop by the host's pages to see the great recipes they are showing and their favorite picks from last weeks recipes submitted Amanda of Coping with Frugality and Alesha of Full Time Mama...
This recipe is yummy I hope you enjoy it!!

What You Need:
1 lb sausage (I use mild or Turkey)
2 tablespoons flour (do not level)
2 cups milk
salt and pepper to taste

What You Do:
In a large skillet cook and crumble your sausage, drain off all but 2 tablespoons of the drippings(grease). Add the flour, salt, pepper and mix. It will look almost like a paste. Slowly add the milk while stirring and continue to slowly stir until the gravy thickens. Serve over warm biscuits.

  1. Yummy in my tummy. I grew up eating sausage gravy.

  2. Biscuits and gravy is a favorite of ours. I grew up with my grandma making it, and it is so so good. Your recipe sounds close to my husbands, which is also amazing. YUM.
    Thanks for linking up!!
