Delicious Dish Tuesday: Protein Fruit Smoothie

Full Time Mama

Welcome to another great week of Delicious Dish Tuesday... This week I am sharing my Protein Fruit Smoothie recipe with you.... I hope you enjoy it as much as Pumpkin did... I made this recipe as a way to get protein into his lunch's for school since he never wanted peanut butter or meat. Also make sure you stop by the host's pages to see the great recipes they are showing and their favorite picks from last weeks recipes submitted Amanda of Coping with Frugality and Alesha of Full Time Mama...

What You Need:
1 cup Greek Vanilla Yogurt ( I used Chobani because it has the most protein)
1/2 cup Vanilla Almond Milk
1 cup fresh fruit

What You Do:
Place all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. I then freeze the smoothie and place it in Pumpkin's lunch box and by the time he has lunch it is thawed and he can drink it.

In the smoothie pictured we used 1/2 cup fresh blueberries and a half of a banana. We have also done a mixed berry with fresh strawberries, blueberries and black raspberries.
