Finding Peace While Crafting

In this crazy and hectic world, it is increasingly hard to truly relax and find inner peace. What if I told you that you could craft your way to a calm state? Well you can with a new wonderful book called "crafting calm".  This book is full of projects and practices for creativity and contemplation. This book is a DIY guide to peace of mind, offering an abundance of ways you can achieve serenity and satisfaction by living the handmade life.

There are eight wonderful chapters to this book:
Crafting Calm
Crafting for Clarity
Crafting for Comfort
Crafting for Contemplation
Crafting for Creation
Crafting for Community
Crafting for Connection with Others
Crafting for Connection with Spirit

There are 5 crafts in each chapter that you can do. Each one with a journaling and reflection excerpt for you to do. I really like that there is scripture all throughout this book. This book has given me some great ideas on ways that I can bless my secret sister at church along with other ladies that I have a special connection with. I have also found a few of the crafts that I think would be great to do for one of our monthly ladies gatherings.

Do you have something that you do to help calm yourself when you are stressed? I have always enjoyed doing puzzles but with having young kids in the house it's hard to do them without the pieces going missing. This book has given me some new ideas on things to do when I am stressed and needing to find a inner peace.

How would you like to win a copy of this great book for yourself or for a wonderful lady you know could use it? Then simply fill out the form below...

  1. Crafting for Creations and Crafting in Spirit :)

  2. Actually I love all of these Chapters but Crafting for Connection with the Spirit looks pretty interesting.
