Sponsor Spotlight: Motorola Solutions

When it comes to my families safety I am all about the best and I am sure you are the same way. I mean we spend day and night trying to keep our families safe. So what do you do when there is bad weather and you find yourself without any means of communication? Do you have a plan for such an occurrence? I know my family did not until recently. We all rely on our cell phones and don't really think about "what if" the cell phone tower goes down then what? How will you communicate with people or get weather updates? That is a problem my family no longer has to worry about thanks to the Motorola Solutions Talkabout T480 Walkie Talkies.

The T480 is a great resource to have in your home for emergencies. They are easy to just grab and go with in the case of a emergency. They are also handy to have if you will be out in the woods hunting and need to communicate with someone else who isn't to far away. The T480 has a built in FM radio so you can easily get your favorite radio stations as well. It also has a built in LED flashlight which makes getting around in the dark a bit easier.

The T480 offers a quiet charge feature which allows you to charge the radio and turn off calls, but you will still receive any weather or emergency calls that come through so you don't miss important information. The radio has 22 channels with 121 privacy codes that can be used. It is also weatherproof so it can be used during any weather condition that may be happening.

The T480 walkie talkies would make a great addition to every home! They have such a variety of functions and uses that make them super handy to have in the home. I know they will get lots of use by my family while hiking, hunting and if needed in an emergency.
I would recommend these radios!

  1. These would be fabulous for us to use when one or more of us are going out into the back pasture. It would be nice to be able to get ahold of Hubby or the boys when they decide to go out back, instead of just waiting for them to decide to come back up whenever!

  2. That would be very handy to have. Thanks for the info.

  3. I didn't think I'd need something like that here in MD, but boy was I wrong! This would be great with the crazy weather we have here. It would also be nice when we go on our long walks in case we need to keep in touch with our boys at home.

  4. I can't believe it can reach 35 miles! That's awesome. I really need one of these for emergencies. Plus, my son has been asking for one for when we go camping in the woods. Might be on my Christmas List this year. Thanks for sharing.

  5. I'd love to have some nice walkies. Many years ago we traveled with friends (about two couples per car) to Chicago for a wedding and we used walkies to communicate in caravan.
