Holiday Gift Guide: Family Game Night with Blue Orange Games

If your family is like ours then you enjoy a good family game night. I know that growing up I enjoyed when my cousins and I would all sit around playing board games. If you are tired of the same old games then you will want to check out all the fun games that blue orange games has to offer. They offer games for everyone in the family aged 3 - adult. I received two games that I know my older three children are going to love! We got Top That and Gigamons which are for ages 6 and up.

Top That helps kids build the skills of problem solving, visual perception, fine motor skills, focus and attention and processing speed. The object of the game is to follow the directions on the cards they get. When you flip the challenge card, you race to stack your objects in 1 single pile following 3 simple rules. Objects printed in color must be visible on the stack, objects printed in grey must be hidden inside objects in the stack and objects surrounded by stars must be left empty. This all has to be done within a certain amount of time.

Gigamons helps kids build the skills of memory, focus and attention as well as problem solving. Gigamons is like a memory game with pictures of Elemons. When you find a pair of Elemons you get to keep them and you also get to use their unique special power. Which gives you an advantage for the rest of the game. When you collect 3 of the same Elemons you summon the corresponding Gigamon to your side. Once you have 3 Gigamons on your side you WIN.

I am sure that my children are going to love these new blue orange as much as they do their others. II can't wait for our family game nights and to be able to play these great games with the kids.

Does your family do Family Game Night? If you do what is your favorite game to play together?
