When I was nineteen I found myself pregnant with my first son. I was a freshman in college working at McDonalds at the time. It would have been easy for me to say that this is not the right time for me to have a baby in my life and simply aborted it. Luckily I had a very supportive boyfriend (now husband) at the time who stood beside and helped me get through things. I had some support from my family but only from a select few. The word abortion was thrown at me right away when I told my family I was pregnant and several times throughout my pregnancy from others. I know not everyone is lucky enough to have a good support system when find themselves young, pregnant and unwed, but there are support systems out there for these girls if they seek them. I would like to tell you about one of them Embrace Grace.
I received a beautiful Pro-Love necklace and You Are Strong journal to review and these are both items I would have loved to have received when I was young and found myself in a unexpected pregnancy. These items are just a couple of the items that girls receive in a Love in a Box if they get a positive pregnancy test from certain local pregnancy centers in their area.
