Sap! Maple a different kind of soda

One thing that my family loves is drinking soda. I know that it is not good for any of us so I am always looking for a healthier option. I have been able to get them to not drink as much soda lately and drink other options I keep around the house. When I heard about Sap! Maple I was very interested in it for my family. I was not sure how my family would like it but I know that they love maple syrup especially our homemade so I thought we would give it a try.

Easy School Supply Labeling

With the kids heading back to school it is time to start thinking about labeling all their school supplies. I am not sure about you, but I hate sitting down and writing the kids names on every single school supply. Since my home label maker quit working I am stuck writing each child's name on every item. By the time I am done my hand hurts since I currently have 3 school aged children. This year Label Daddy came to my rescue with labels for my daughter.

Curious Creamery: Quick homemade ice cream at home

We are an ice cream eating family. We usually have ice cream for dessert about 5 out of 7 days a week. When I was asked to try the The Curious Creamery Ice Cream I was excited because, well... its ice cream. I was worried though because I do not own an ice cream maker. I received 2 packages of the mix, a chocolate and plain and then realized, all you need is a mixer to make it. You just pour the powder into a bowl (they actually make pints that you use the container it comes in and just make it in there), and mix it with your favorite ice cold beverage, we used milk. You mix until it is fluffy and add anything you would like. We added peanut butter because that is my favorite food and you can never go wrong with peanut butter flavored chocolate ice cream. The bad part with this ice cream is, you have to let it sit in the freezer for a few hours.

GoGo Lantern: Little Lantern Lot of Light

We are an outdoorsy bunch and love to camp. When I seen the GoGo Lantern Bucket I was kind of skeptical because it "claims" to be super bright and all this. It is charged by solar power and, lets be honest, living in Ohio we don't have the best luck with daylight and sun. (to get the full effect of the light, they recommend charging it in the sun for a good 6-8 hours to get a full 8 hours of use). You can also charge it with a USB wall adapter if you wish. We had a family reunion a few weekends ago and I took it because it is pitch dark at night because you are so far from town and the lights. I forgot to charge the GoGo Lantern lantern the week prior to the reunion so when I got it out of the car I was worried. I turned it on and, all my worries were gone.

Get Snackinng with Flamous Brands

I'm all about "snacky" foods. When I was asked to try Flamous Brand Chips I was already deciding what I can pair it with, use for dipping, ect. I received the Flamous Chips and what caught my eye first was that on the side of the bag it says "Heart Healthy".You think of chips and you think of sodium usually. These are very low in sodium and still are very tasty. I tried the Original Falafel Chips, and I tried all of these without and dips, and what I noticed when I opened the bag was the size of the chip. It is a very good size that makes it perfect for scooping up some hummus or salsa. It is made with 21 herbs, vegetables, spices and beans. This one was very tasty and it can be paired with alot of things to give it a vibrant flavor. You not only get the fiber and protein you need, you get a great flavor. Each chip has the perfect amount of herbs and spices for that great flavor.

Cave Tools will meet your grilling needs

*This post contains affiliate links, which means that if you click on one of the product links, you'll be helping to feed the little angels here at Andersons Angels.

I am sure by now you know that our family loves to grill out from previous posts. I love getting a break from cooking in the house when Mr. Anderson grills. It also helps keep the house cooler because I am not using the stove or oven. I am always on the lookout for new and useful tools for Mr. Anderson to use while grilling. Our family has come to love Cave Tools and the quality products that they sell!

Time to get the kids ready to head back to school

With school getting ready to start up again it's time to start thinking about school supply shopping. With the kids school lists growing longer and longer each year it seems I try to find the best bang for my buck. One way I do this is by finding brands that make quality products that will last for my children. Some of the products that I have found that my kids and I really like are from brands like Scribble Stuff, U.S.A. Gold and The Board Dudes.
