Learning can be done in so many different ways but typically we try to teach our children in the cleanest ways possible. I worked at a daycare for just shy of 5 years and I can tell you that kids learn really well when getting messy. The kids use to love when we would practice writing our letters in shaving cream. Oscar the Grouch does not like learning in a clean manner he wants to get dirty and messy while learning. Now he has got his Sesame Street friends together to teach your child their ABCs by splashing and crashing their way through the alphabet together in Sesame Street: The Messy Alphabet Book.
Peanut and I are enjoying this book very much! He received it on his birthday and it has quickly become one of his favorites to look at. It is a wonderful book full of bright and vibrant colors which is great for little ones. I love all the personalization that is all through out this wonderful book. My kids all have loved elmo while growing up and I love all the learning they got through all the Sesame Street Characters over the years.
I love the Put me in the Story books because of all the wonderful personalization they add to each and every book. Some of the ways you can personalize the books are with your little one's name, photo and a dedication message. At the end of The Messy Alphabet Book your child gets to decorate their initials using all the tricks they have learned from their Sesame Street friends! We are waiting till Peanut is a bit older to let him decorate his initials.
Make sure you enter the Messy Alphabet Book Sweepstakes for a chance to win a Sesame Street personalized book bundle:
