Rockin Green Cloth Diaper Detergent Giveaway ***CLOSED***

My newest craze cloth diapering...I got interested in it when a friend of mine Happenings of the Harper Household started cloth diapering her daughter. I have been trying to find ways to make my families lifestyle not only healthier but greener in hopes to help the environment as well as pocket books. So I started asking questions about the diapers and how well they work and everything you need to know about cloth diapering. One question I had for her was about washing them and about thta time she was doing a review on Rockin Green herself. She told me how well it worked on not only washing the cloth diapers but with her everyday laundry. So I decided to contact Rockin Green to see if I could obtain some samples to try. Which has worked out great with a new baby coming I have been able to wash her cloth diapers using the Rockin Green. I have to say that I love the it smells and works. I used the Rockin Green to was up the babies cloth diapers as well as some of her clothes that we got from our baby shower. Everything came out of the washer smelling so nice and looking very nice as well same as the dryer and for once I did not have to use fabric softner or dryer sheets.

Not only is Rockin Green great for doing laundry you can use it in your dishwasher as well. One day I ran out of dishwasher detergent and was short on funds to go buy some but came across another moms post on facebook about using Rockin Green in the dishwasher so I tried it. It worked great everything came out nice and clean. I have to say I am now addicted to Rockin Green and only wish there was a store close to me that sells it, but for now I will be buying it online and in hopes one day a local store will pick up this great item. Baby, Baby and oh yeah Dinner

So a little update on me and this little girl I am starting to think might not be so little when she gets here. I love being pregnant don't get me wrong, but I am so ready to be done with this pregnancy. I am not able to get up out of bed in the morning without my loving husbands help. Once up I very slowly waddle my way to the bathroom because I can't hardly walk from all the babies pressure on my lower abdomen. Today has been one of the worst days so far. Not only could I not walk my feet and hands are swollen so off came my wedding rings which I hate to take off...I have not been able to use my arms much at all. My husband brought laundry up and laid it on our bed and I tried to help fold it and it made my arms so sweet and sore. I have my next doctors appointment on Wednesday and can't wait hoping to hear some progress like maybe were at 3cm now instead of one. All I know is I want to meet my little girl and am ready to meet her now not in a week or two.

The only good thing I think I did today was get enough energy to cook my family dinner. And it started off with the age old question "What's For Dinner?" Our options ended up being Fish Sticks with Mac-n-Cheese, Tacos, Nachos or Homemade Pizza. I ended up making my families favorite of Homemade Pizza. They like it when I make a Pepperoni, Bacon, Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese Pizza. Bubba said that it was the best pizza he had ever eaten. Makes me feel good that my family likes my cooking. Everyone cleaned their plates which is unusual especially for Bubba and Pumpkin.

Baby Update

Ok where to begin... Let's see we have the baby scheduled to be delivered via C-section on February 10th but neither one of her brothers came when scheduled they both came at 38 weeks. We are hoping she does the same since I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow :-). Sleep I am not getting much of since she is sitting on my pelvic bone. I tried to sleep sitting up last night which was not comfortable and then I was having speratic small contractions. We went to the doctor yesterday and everything is looking good I'm still gaining weight and am also 1cm dilated. We have been working on getting the nursery all together crib is up and changing table in the room. I had the room decorated but most of the decorations feel so I have to find a new way to hang them up. I had my baby shower Sunday and it was a great blessing to us. We were blessed with many great family and friends that came to join share in our joy. My mom surprised me with the Camo Garden bedding set I wanted for the baby. Now I am currently working on getting all the gift bags unpacked and clothes washed and everything else put away. Bubba and Pumpkin are getting excited that it's almost baby sister time they can't wait to meet her same as everyone else. :-) She is going to be one very loved little girl. :-) Not only is she the first Granddaughter but the first girl for my husbands family. My in-laws had two boys and then my husband and I had two boys so it looked like they weren't ever gonna get a girl. :-) Well I will keep try to keep you posted on what is going on with this little one and when she decides to make her appearance in the world.

My family and I got the great pleasure of receiving a novelty box of snacks from Popcorners to review.  We were very excited to try these because my family LOVES popcorn!! Getting Ready for Baby

So now that the Holidays are over and no birthdays are coming up until March it is time for our family to get ready for our newest arrival. The baby is due on February 17th but we are scheduling her for February 10th. The thing is I have never made it to a scheduled delivery yet both Bubba and Pumpkin came at 38 weeks. I am 34 weeks along which leaves us not to much time to get stuff ready in my opinion. I have a baby shower coming up in two weeks that my mom and mother-in-law are hosting at our church. Today my husband and I worked on getting the nursery in some type of order to be able to get the crib up. Well the crib is up without a mattress or bedding. I need to go grab the mattress from my in-laws house so that can be done this week.

My next thing to do is get the nursery decorated for the baby. It has taken me all the way up until a couple of days ago to even decide on what I wanted to do the nursery in. When I first got pregnant I was set on pink camo; but when my mom was unable to get a hold of the bedding set I wanted I had to find something else. So I have finally decided on butterflies and flowers in pastel colors. Which I have several mesh butterflies and flowers that were to be used outdoors but never were that I am going to hang up in the nursery. I will post pictures when I get it done.

After the baby shower it will be time to start washing diapers and everything else the baby needs. We have decided to give cloth diapering a try with this baby. Both Bubba and Pumpkin had sensitive skin so we could only buy Pampers which got very expensive in the end for something that was getting thrown in the trash. I have been trying to find ways for our family to save money since I am now a SAHM. Every penny saved helps a lot. I had never thought about cloth diapering before because I didn't want to mess with the pinning and the mess that came along with them. Not long after finding out that I was a expecting a friend of my mine decided to give cloth diapering a try and was loving it. So I started asking her questions and it didn't take long for me to decide that it was something that I wanted to give a try as well.

I would now say that she has me addicted to Fluff and the baby isn't here yet. I am always trying to win all the Fluff giveaways now when there posted as well as the needed accessories. Like Rockin Green Soap which Happenings of the Harper Household has a giveaway for currently up on her blog. Oh yea did I forget to mention that Happenings of the Harper Household is my friend that got me started on the cloth diapering and blogging kick lol. I love you Danielle you are a great friend full of great information, and if you haven't checked out her blog you need to. She is always coming up with some great ideas like reusing the Christmas but you'll have to go check out her blog to see what I'm talking about.

Well I will try to keep everyone up to date on what is going on with the arrival of newest little and well have to see if she decides to come when scheduled or be like her big brothers and come early. Mommy, Daddy and Big Brothers are voting for early so well see lol.
