I am so excited to tell you about the first Resort being featured in our 2013 Travel Guide! Sand Cay Beach Resort is located on the beautiful shores of Longboat Key, Florida. The same shores I spent many summers on when I was growing up. I am very excited to be able to take my children here this summer. They are already asking if it's time to go to Florida yet. I think they are tired of all this cold and snow already. But on the bright side the groundhog said an Early Spring is on its way.
Sand Cay Beach Resort offers 60 fully furnished individually owned two bedroom, two bath condo's each measuring about 1,100 sq. ft. They are available for rent on a daily, weekly & monthly basis. Plus, they are all just steps from the Gulf of Mexico!
As you can see from the picture, Longboat Key is an Island that sits off the Florida coast. It connects to the towns of Bradenton from the North and Sarasota from the South. This allows guests the opportunity to explore a wide variety of activities while staying on the Island. There are many fun things to do around the resort as well if you do not feel like venturing out and about. You can enjoy a day on the white sandy beaches, take a dip in the pool, relax and have a BBQ at the picnic area, play some tennis, basketball or shuffleboard. With the wide range of activities at the Resort to keep the whole family busy you may not find the time to venture out.
One thing that I am really looking forward to is seeing the Sunsets again. Watching the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico is such a beautiful site and a great way to end a long day. If you are lucky you may even spot some dolphins out in the Gulf playing as well.
So if you are looking into taking a trip to Florida this year for a vacation, make sure you stop by Sand Cay Beach Resorts website and see if they have your dates available and what specials they may be running at the time as well. I cannot wait to write up our review of the Sand Cay Beach Resort as well but you will have to wait till July to read it because we will not be visiting this beautiful Resort until June.
I can't wait to read your review! The photos look amazing. I may have to check them out for if we goto Florida....
