Family Update

Lately I haven't posted much on here about what's been going on with the family. So why not today since it's snowing and cold out. Today is the first day of Bubba's Spring Break and we woke up to 3-4 inches of snow. We are all so over this cold weather and ready for some nice warm weather. A couple of weeks ago we got a new puppy that we named Lillie she is a beautiful little Daschund. Saturday we woke up to a broken furnace and that was no fun. Luckily it was decent outside and not to cold. The kids went to a Easter egg hunt in the park behind our house. The egg hunt had over 10,000 eggs and there was a great turn out for the event as well. The boys both have joined 4-H this year and they are both super excited about it. They are also playing baseball this year as well.

 

Lately the Lord has laid it upon my heart to find my birth dad. This has not been easy for me but I think I have an idea of his where abouts which is only about an hour from me. I have a lot of information to go on but it's just a matter of if he wants to be found or if people are willing to help me. This is such an emotional time for me right now and I am so thankful that Jake is such a supportive husband and my mom is also supporting me and helping me in this adventure.

 

So that is a quick summary of what's been going on around here...and feel free to keep me in your prayers on this journey of trying to reconnect with my Birth dad.
