Pregnancy Journal: Week 27

I can't believe how fast everything seems to be going now! I realized this week that I am in my third trimester already! Which also means there are 15 weeks and 6 days until Christmas!!

How Far Along -
27 Weeks Pregnant (27 weeks 0 days)

Due Date -
December 12th, 2013

Boy or Girl -
Unknown - this is our surprise baby :-)

Bump Picture -

Baby Development -
Baby is sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing it's eyes, and perhaps even sucking on it's fingers. With more brain tissue developing, the baby is very active now. While it's lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning with medical help if baby was to be born now. You can chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements being felt to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don't bother baby.

Symptoms -
I have been pretty tired and still dealing with the pain in my lower abdomen and being tired all the time.

Current Cravings -
Crab Rangoon...

Currently Avoiding -
I am still avoiding doughnuts and orange juice both give me a very bad upset stomach. I tried doughnuts this week and yeah I got sick to my stomach. :-(

Belly Button Status -
It's sticking out...

Movement -
Baby is moving a lot now and is very active! The baby sits low and likes to stretch out into my ribs.

Any Appointments? -
No appointments were scheduled this week but had to go in and check to see if my water was leaking luckily it was a No.

Any Baby Related Purchases? -
Didn't buy anything again this week for the baby.
