Do your kids love to read? I know that my children all enjoy books and either being read to or reading them themselves. I am always looking for new and interesting books to add to their book collection. The kids and I have enjoyed reading Nickerbacher, The Funniest Dragon our newest book. 

Nickerbacher is a sweet-tempered, bushy-browed beast who spends his days guarding Princess Gwendolyn and dreams of being a stand-up comic - not exactly a profession for a dragon! He's true to his duty as a dragon - as dictated by his Papa - but wants only to do what makes him happy. It isn't until the dashing Prince Happenstance comes along, ready for a fight, that they realize that instead of battling each other, they should do what's in their hearts and pursue their true desires (the Prince really wants to be a baseball pitcher). With a winning set at The Comedy Castle and his family's newfound support and pride, it's all laughter, happiness and dreams come true for the good-natured dragon!

This is a brightly colored storybook with a wonderful message about perusing what you're good at. The book is recommended for ages 5-8 but Bubba enjoyed it and he is 10. I think the message is one that is great for all children no matter their age. The jokes are a little hard for the younger kids to understand but still a very enjoyable book.
