Recently LEGO KidFest visited Cleveland, OH and we had the opportunity to go and check it out. We made it a trip for just the boys while the girls hung out with their Nana, Papa and Uncle Jesse for the evening. We didn't tell the boys where they were going so they played the guessing game the whole way to the event. They were so excited when they saw the sign for LEGO KidFest but were bummed when they saw it was sold out. Needless to say Mom came to the rescue when she pulled out tickets along with a piece of mail that they had received prompting the event that they didn't realize I had kept. Since I kept the flyer they were able to receive a special gift from the LEGO club table.
This was our first trip to LEGO KidFest and wasn't sure what to expect from the event. Mr. Anderson and I were very pleased with the event overall. They had challenges, building stations, shows and more for the kids to enjoy and do. I was happy to see that they had hand sanitizer for everyone to use to help keep the LEGO's clean and not spread germs between everyone at the event. We participated in a LEGO challenge and we were given hand sanitizer as we entered into the area where the challenge took place.
The boys enjoyed doing the LEGO challenge and building a car to race and compete with. I think we spent most of our time at the car challenge area. They had areas set up for each age group and gender with LEGO's. Bubba and I created a flower garden in the LEGO friends area so we could get Sweet Pea a LEGO freinds set they were giving away.
We all enjoyed walking around and seeing all the statues built completely out of LEGOs. They had Super Heros to Princesses and everything in between made out of LEGOs. There were a few statues that Mr. Anderson and the boys had to tell me what they were because I was clueless. We all enjoyed LEGO KidFest and can't wait for it to make it's way back to Cleveland, OH.
My nephew & my niece would love this.ReplyDelete
