My husband is a history buff. Always said he should have been a history teacher. Me, not so much... He enjoyed The World Almanac and Book of Facts 2017. It even has the 2016 election results in it already. The World Almanac has been around since 1868 and has been the #1 go-to for all of your entertainment, reference, and learning needs. Not sure what happened in sports in 2016... look it up in the almanac. It has everything from sports trivia, facts, Olympics, politics, some of the strangest stories, entertainment, you name it and if it happened in 2016, its in the almanac.

It has tabs on the side for quick easy reference too which is nice for me because I'm more interested in the entertainment than having to flip thru all of the history and political stuff, I just find the tab on the side and there I go and start enjoying away. Sports fans will for sure enjoy this book especially if you are looking to quiz your friends. It lists every sports team listed and every player along with all of their statistics for the 2016 season and some of them how they compared to past athletes and past seasons. Looking to find out the population of any country on the map... look it up in the World Almanac. In case you are trying to remember the birthday of your favorite music artist or actor, Look it up in the World Almanac. Seriously, if it happened, its in the World Almanac and Book of Facts 2017.

I do have to admit that the Almanac was pretty interesting. I never know that they kept tract of so many thing on 2016. I figured that the war attacks, sports moments and politics would be in there but it even has how many newspapers were sold in each state, how many underage crashes were reported, how many people were infected with a deadly disease and the description of it, student loans, overdose deaths, state minimum wages, even the best selling magazine of 2016 which, by the way, I had no idea it is the AARP magazine.

If you have a crossword lover, a history buff or that hard to buy for person, grab the Almanac of 2016 and make sure to grab on for yourself. Start enjoying the facts today.
