I'm Not A Scaredy-Cat Book by Max Lucado *Giveaway*

One of my all time favorite Christian authors is Max Lucado. I love his inspirational books but I am bigger fan of his children's books. When the opportunity arose to review Max's newest children book I'm Not a Scaredy-Cat: A Prayer for When You Wish You Were Brave I jumped at the opportunity. With having 5 kids they all seem to go through a Scaredy-Cat phase at different times. I am hoping that this book will help my younger children when they are feeling scared.

Synopsis:

In this story you follow a silly series of misadventures as scaredy-cat faces his worst fears: an appalling abundance of (gulp!) yellow, blue and pink sprinkles on his donut, an elephant on the verge of a ginormous sneeze, and the terrifyingly loud chime of a clock. For each of the fears, Max provides this reassuring child's version of Philippians: 4:6-9: "God, you are good. God, you are near. God, you are here! And, God, you love me." A fun read for children and parents, I'm Not a Scaredy-Cat will open doors for important conversations about fear in a nonthreatening way and help you instill godly bravery in your kids.

This book would make a great gift for any child who struggles with being afraid of things on a daily basis. Even if your child is not scared of things this a book that will help instill godly bravery in them.
