Filter Your Water at Home

One thing that my family struggles with is drinking enough water. With having a well and poor water quality coming from it we just tend not to drink our water. I typically buy bottled water or we keep our water cooler jug filled, but I am getting tired of wasting my money.  When I got offered the chance to review a Clearly Filtered Water Pitcher I was excited to do so. I was really hoping that this water pitcher would allow us to be able to drink our tap water so I could save some money. 

Help your Feet Beat the Stink

One thing that I never really thought about was stinky shoes until I took Angels boots off her one day and the smell almost knocked me out. I could not believe that a little girls shoes could smell so horrific. I would assume my teenagers shoes would smell worse then my 4 year olds shoes. Now smelly shoes are a thing of the past for Angel thanks to Arm & Hammer Shoe Refreshing Spray and Invisible Spray Powder. 

2018 4H County Judging

With technology taking over it seems like most parents have a hard time getting their kids outside and active. One way that our family has found to get the kids outside and active is with our local 4H. The kids have been participating now for a family total of 8 years! And it has been one of the best decisions I ever made with my children. They are learning some great skills that will help them in the future and in their future careers.

As a busy mom one thing that I come to love is my daily devotion books. They help me find some peace and daily time with the Lord in my crazy hectic day. My newest devotional has been a much needed breath of air for me.  The Always Enough, Never Too Much devotional is 100 devotions for us women to quit comparing, stop hiding  and start living wild and free. I am not sure about you but I find myself comparing how I live and how I do things to others daily. I know that this is not what the Lord wants me to do and this devotional is slowly helping me gain more confidence in the Woman the Lord has made me to be.

Marvel Codenames Game Night

Who loves game nights? I know we love having family game nights but friend game nights are just as fun! Recently I hosted a USAopoly Marvel Codenames game night and it was a lot of fun! I think it is a must to have adult time and get time to relax and chat. I know as a stay at home mom I do not get much adult interaction on a daily basis. 

Summer Family Fun with Goliath Toys (Giveaway)

One thing that the Anderson Family loves to do together is play games. Whether it be board games, video games, digital games and more. If it is a game we probably play it. We love having family game nights with the older kids and love having games that the littles can play as well. When I was offered the chance to review some Goliath games I was happy to accept. The Goliath company makes some of my families favorite games that the littler kids can play. 

Highlights Provide Educational Fun

With Summer in full swing it is our job as parents to make sure that our children do not lose the knowledge they learned over the past school year. Maybe you have a little one who is not in school but is starting to work on their letters and numbers. Then Highlights would be the perfect books to help them and you succeed at teaching them their basic skills.

Take Your Chicken To the Grill

One thing that I love is eating grilled foods in the summer time. It helps keep my house cool because I do not have to turn on my oven to cook. Instead I get everything prepared and send it out to Mr. Anderson at the grill.  I also love finding new and delicious recipes for him to try out on the grill.  But now thanks to Cave Tools we are grilling out all the time and everything is coming out delicious!
