WELCOME BACK & WELCOME 2021

It feels like it has been forever since I have been on here with all my wonderful readers. I took most of 2020 off to focus on my family. I did not have much free time thanks to having to home school 4 of my kids at the end of the school thanks to the pandemic. I discovered that I am not cut out to homeschool such a vast range of school grades. I had a 9th, 6th, 3rd and Kindergartener needless to say I am happy they are all back in school now and my sanity is slowly coming back. A few BIG things that happened last year were Jake and I celebrated our 15 year Wedding Anniversary, I flew on a plane for the first time and Bubba turned 16!

Jake and I spent our 15 year Wedding Anniversary in South Florida kid free! We had a great time reconnecting and just being a couple. We went all over South Florida by driving through the Everglades. We went on a airboat ride and enjoyed a Alligator Show at the home of the Gator Boys. I booked us a fishing character which surprised Jake because he figured I would want to go dolphin watching or shelling, but I enjoy fishing and never get to do it anymore because I am always helping the little ones. We went kayaking through mangroves and spent time at the beaches. We had some of the most freshest and best seafood ever! Now that Jake has finally experience Florida with just me and no kids he is ready to move. It was such a great trip for us both.

I am not sure what all 2021 holds for us other than a kid getting their license. We know we will spending Spring Break camping in Florida. I am hoping to bring new life to this blog and get it up and going again and I hope you all will join along. I am also hoping my 3 writers will get back with me as they all have new things going on with their lives as well.

  1. I love it! It's so good to have some alone time with your hubby every now and then! Joel and I took a couples vacation as well. We actually thought we were finally "empty nesters" but the two youngest both came back home.
