When the temps are cold outside and you just can't get outside to play what do you do for fun with your family? Well if you are like me and DO NOT like the cold weather AT ALL you sit inside cooped up going crazy with kids that have a bunch of stored energy. Which makes you go crazy because there is only so much you can do to keep 4 kids busy inside a home. Luckily for us Ohio has some great indoor water-parks within a short driving distance from our home. So we surprised the kids with a surprise weekend getaway at Castaway Bay.

One thing that my family loves to do when the weather breaks in Ohio is grill out. The smell of food cooking on a grill is one of my favorites, but cleaning the grill is one of my least favorite things to do. I really do not know to many people who actually enjoy cleaning a grill because they are not a easy item to clean.

- Turn story time into a teachable moment: Learning about other countries and cultures can happen during daily activities. Choose children’s books that accurately portray other cultures or focus on historical events for afternoon or bedtime reading. After finishing the book, parents can talk to children about what they learned and how the lives of the characters in the book differ from their own.
- Make the facts digestible for young minds: Young children may have a difficult time comprehending abstract statistics about inequality around the world. Create a math activity at home to make this information more relatable. Use beads or buttons to count out how many children are in the child’s class, and then remove items based on global averages for clean water access or hunger statistics. According to World Vision’s 2015 Food Assistance Report, 1 in 6 children – more than 1.4 million kids - are dangerously underweight because they lack access to adequate food and nutritional assistance. For a classroom of 24, remove 4 beads to represent these children.

I am just starting to feel better but still very tired and weak. All I want to do is sleep and nothing else which is hard when you have 4 kiddos running around that need your attention. Along with a house that needs cleaned and laundry that needs done you know all the normal mommy stuff.

One third of women in the United States have a C-section delivery. While this brings them the wonderful gift of life, it also leaves them with an unsightly scar. Often times, these scars will fade and leave just a pale, thin, flat line. But, sometimes, scars are bigger, thicker and raised and son't heal as well. While creams and oils may help a bit with a scar's appearance, there really hasn't been anything that has worked wonders. Until now...
I'd like to introduce you to Scarology Ultimate Scar Treatment System for C-Sections & Large Scars: $78.50. Dr. Micheal Connor and Dr. Jeanmarie Connor are a husband and wife team with twenty years of medical expertise specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery and pediatrics. Together they have created Scarology. This new product is a safe and effective three-step at home scar treatment. The proprietary scar treatment system combines ingredients that have, until now, only been available in medical settings. These key ingredients have been shown to nourish the healing scar with hydration, and reduce inflammation in the scar tissue.

I am just starting to feel good and not be so nauseated all the time . I am so thankful to be off the reglan pump now. Having hyperemesis during pregnancy is nothing I would wish on anyone but in the end it worth it.

One thing that the kids and I love to do is garden. We love growing a garden as well as planting flower gardens. I think it is wonderful that I have children that love to be outdoors and use their hands to grow things. Thanks to the Jonsteen Company partnering with me for this blog hop my children will now have some new gardening fun to do.
I love supporting companies who products are Made in the USA. I think we need to support more of our companies here in the states so they won't leave and outsource the work. I am the type of person who is willing to pay a little more to support a US company then a foreign. By supporting the US companies you are keeping jobs here in the states for people which helps grow our economy. I was so happy when 1888 Mills agreed to work with me on this great giveaway.
One thing that I love is unique and different crafts. I love stuff that is tasteful can be personalized and won't go out of style. When I came across Scrappin Plus I was instantly in love with all of their items. I wish I would have known about them when I got married because I would have had a cake topper made. They have the funnest and unique items that all can be personalized.

It seems lately that the Lord is calling home so many Angels from this Earth. Between my husbands family, my family and friends families we have lost over a dozen people in the month of February. I do not understand what is going on only the Lord truly knows why he is taking so many home but I feel that something BIG is about to happen. Never in my life have I seen so many people go in such a short time frame. The biggest lost for me was my Grandmother.

With 2016 finally here, I've already been planning about how to make this new year the healthiest one yet. Although there are numerous ways I could improve myself (couldn't we all) and my health, what if I could also get my family involved including my furry family members, too? Milk-Bone (the makers of my pup's favorite dog treats) recently conducted an original survey of 3,000 pet parents nationwide to find out which healthy habits families are pledging in the new year.
See the results below:
I know as a kid, I loved seeing my name on TV, in a book, the newspaper etc. It made you feel like you were someone because that famous person had the same name as you. I have a feeling that kids these days are no different. The I See Me book gives kids that same feeling. Monkey has an odd name, one that you have to make all the Christmas ornaments for because his name doesn't exist. When he got the I See Me book and it had his name plaster throughout the book, he was so excited, kind of like how I used to get when I would see my name on TV. He wanted to have the book read to him right away.

2015 brought the Anderson household many ups and downs and I am sure 2016 will be the same. In 2015 the Lord blessed us with a house, me a job and many other things that our family needed. There are some BIG blessings coming to us in the 2016 year as well. I have learned that when you wait for the Lord and quit trying to make things happen he will truly bless with much more then you could ever imagine!
